Sea, Sun & Taraipo: Millionaires in Time
Enjoy an evening at the Tower that will take you to a very different world…John Jameson and Nicole Kilchoer will be giving a talk and slide show about their adventures while sailing round the world on a Polynesian catamaran. The talk includes frightening episodes, dismasting, collision, and life in tropical island communities.
The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session and a book signing of John’s Sea, Sun & Taraipo; Millionaires in Time.
John Jameson, descendant of the whiskey distiller, left Manchester College of Art and ran away to sea, to find a career with the Glenans Sea School in France and as RYA Scottish National Sailing Coach.
Nicole Kilchoer, daughter of a Swiss cheesemaker, school teacher, IT consultant & Company Administrator; travelled to Hawaii & New Zealand before sailing round the world.
